New Maps

• Hideout : medium-sized map that doubles as a training site.
• Extraction: A medium-sized map situated in Avalon.
• Heirloom: A compact-sized map featuring a fine arts museum.

Three new maps are coming with Season 1. Some of them will be available right from the start, while others, like Racket and Hacienda, will be released in a mid-season update. Racket is a compact 2v2/6v6 map that takes players into an underground bank vault, while Hacienda, a fan-favorite map, is returning to the game, giving players a chance to enjoy it once more.

There’s also a festive-themed Nuketown variant scheduled to drop by the end of the year.

New Game modes

In Black Ops 6 Season 1, new game modes include:

Ransack Mode: This mode pits teams against each other to hunt for gold bars scattered across 6v6 maps and inside crates. Players need to secure their loot and store it in their team’s stash to keep it safe. Teams can even raid each other’s stash, with the winning side being the one that collects the most gold by reaching the score limit or at the end of the timer. To unlock Ranked play, players must first win 50 Matchmade Multiplayer games. Wins earned before Season 1 will also count toward this total.

The Progressive Rank and Victory Stars system has been removed. Now, a player’s rank will directly reflect their Skill Division and Tier, and they will progress through 8 distinct ranks.

Map and Mode Veto: Teams can veto one of the three map + mode options before a Ranked match begins.

Forfeit: If a team is experiencing significant losses, they can choose to surrender.

Loss Forgiveness: The first loss of the day will be forgiven, with no SR deduction.

Black Ops 6 Season 1 Zombies Mode Update: Directed Mode

Season 1 introduces a new Directed Mode for Zombies, giving players a guided experience in Liberty Falls and Terminus. All objectives will be marked, with a maximum round cap of 15 and Side Quests and S.A.M. Trials disabled, so players can focus solely on the storyline.
